Welcome to the Official Site for the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Myles Scully, Division One of Yonkers, New York! We are the oldest and largest Irish-American Organization in the U.S., and we are dedicated to live by our organization's motto, "FRIENDSHIP, UNITY and CHRISTIAN CHARITY." The Yonkers Division was established on November 1, 1891.

Myles Scully Division Receives Marching Unit Award from NYC Parade Committee

Division President Kevin Ellis Accepts Award from John Dunleavy


                     The Yonkers Division of the Ancient Order of Hibernians was recently honored by the New York City Saint Patrick's Day Parade Committee at their awards brunch which was held on May 1st, 2011 at Antun's Catering in Queens.  

                     The brunch was a "Thank You" to all of the parade volunteers and to present awards for Best Marching Unit and Band winners for the historic 250th annual parade held this year in New York City.

 


It is an Honor to be Chosen to Receive One of the Limited Awards

  The Myles Scully Division won:
2nd Place for "Best A.O.H. Marching Unit"!


                    "The A.O.H. Division from Yonkers is one of the finest divisions you will ever see." said John Dunleavy, Parade Chairman, "They looked absolutely magnificent marching up 5th Avenue.  A well deserved award and an outstanding job."


              Division President Kevin Ellis accepted the trophy on behalf of the division members.  "This is truly an exceptional honor for Division One.  I am so proud of the effort and commitment of all of our officers and members!


               The parade trophy will be presented to the membership at our monthly membership meeting on Wednesday, May 4th.
