Welcome to the Official Site for the Ancient Order of Hibernians, Myles Scully, Division One of Yonkers, New York! We are the oldest and largest Irish-American Organization in the U.S., and we are dedicated to live by our organization's motto, "FRIENDSHIP, UNITY and CHRISTIAN CHARITY." The Yonkers Division was established on November 1, 1891.

Aislin Irish Community Center Awards Dinner 2011

Myles Scully Division Honored at Aisling Irish Center Awards Dinner

              The Aisling Irish Community Center held its Eighth Annual Awards Dinner on Saturday, October 1st, at the Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester, New York, and the Myles Scully Division of Yonkers was one of the Honorees for the evening.  The other honorees for the evening were Sean Ruane, a pillar of the Yonkers Irish community, and Erin Loughran, this year's New York Rose of Tralee.
Division One was Honored for its Charity Work
         
               Many members of Division One were in attendance, including Bob Eggen, Tom Allison, Pat McLaughlin, Al Fitz, Bill Regan, Brendan Murphy, Peter Van Slyck,  Bob Haines, Jack McDonald, and John Branley.  The award was to honor the members of Division One for its growing charities program and their community outreach accomplishments.

                Division President, Kevin Ellis accepted the award for the Division.  In his remarks to all of those in attendance, he lauded the Aisling Center for the tremendous work they do.  "It is a wonderful honor for us to be recognized by an organization that does so much for the Irish community here in Yonkers." said Ellis, "We are proud supporters of The Aisling Center and all that they do."

                Division One was able to present a check of $2,500 to support the wonderful work of the Aisling Center.  The check was presented by the Division's Charities and Missions Chairman, Jack McDonald.
