President of the P.E.S.W Peter van Slyck and his wife Margaret

Members of the Myles Scully Division were proud to honor Brother Peter Van Slyck on his installation as the new President of the Police Emerald Society of Westchester this past Sunday.

Division One members Kevin Ellis, Mike Morley and James Walsh

The installation dinner dance was held on board the World Yacht Princess which took all of the honorees and guests on a 4 hour trip around Manhattan.  Members present were President Kevin Ellis, Mike Morley, James Walsh, Ken O'Brien, Al Fitz, John Donaghy, Judge Doran, Bill Regan, and of course the man of the hour, Peter Van Slyck.

Peter van Slyck, Cathal McGreal, and Kevin Ellis

We were all treated to spectacular views of New York City.  We also enjoyed the FDNY's Marine 1 boat giving a wonderful salute to us as we travelled down the Hudson River!  The NYPD also provided a helicopter aerial flyover!  The A.O.H. is proud to support the Emerald Society and is thrilled that they chose one of our members to lead them.  Congratulations P.V.S.!!!!!
