CYC GAA Tournament and Parade

AOH of Yonkers to March in Continental Youth Championships Parade on McLean Avenue

The Parade Flyer Lists all the Details!

The CYC Tournament is coming to New York this year, and The AOH of Yonkers is proud to announce that we have been confirmed as a marching unit in a celebratory parade that will march on Mclean Avenue in Yonkers in July!

Every year, The Continental Youth Championship Tournament is held to promote Irish Youth Sports.  The tournament has grown to become the biggest tournament of Gaelic Sports outside of Ireland!  Over 2,500 children aged U6-U18 will participate in hundreds of games organized over the course of a 4 day tournament to be held at Randall’s Island in New York City.  The 2014 tournament is scheduled to run from July 24th thru the 27th.

Division One is a proud supporter of The New York GAA Minor Board, and we are a co-sponsor of The Sean Tallon Memorial Gaelic Football Tournament every October.  We believe that sports is a very important part of Irish Culture, and we look forward to welcoming young athletes from all over the country as they visit New York City and Yonkers.
