Mike Doran & Pat McCormack Honored by The Aisling Center

Two members of The Yonkers Ancient Order of Hibernians were among the honorees at the annual Aisling Irish Community Center Dinner which was held at The Lake Isle Country Club in Eastchester on October 3rd

Awards that were presented at The Aisling Center Dinner

Retired Yonkers City Court Judge Arthur “Mike” Doran Jr. and Yonkers Police Lieutenant Patrick McCormack were presented awards for their many years of service to the Yonkers Community.  Both men are proud members of The AOH Myles Scully Division #1 of Yonkers.  “Hibernians come from many different backgrounds and walks of life, but they all share an unwavering commitment and dedication to their local communities” said Division President Kevin Ellis “We couldn’t be more proud of Mike and Pat for receiving this honor which is so well deserved.”

Members of Division #1 Presenting Donation Check to the Aisling Center

The dinner was also an opportunity for the AOH to present its annual donation to The Aisling Center.  Division #1 Charities and Missions Chairman Jack McDonald presented the center with a check for $3,000.  Funds are raised from the AOH Charity Golf outing that is held every spring and The Aisling Center is the single largest recipient of donations from the Division each year.
