The AOH Freedom for All Ireland Christmas Appeal

Yonkers AOH Supports National
 FFAI Christmas Appeal

AOH FFAI Committee Logo

The Ancient Order of Hibernians National Freedom for All Ireland (FFAI) Committee is dedicated to the realization and establishment of freedom, peace and justice for all the inhabitants of Ireland.  It has become a powerful voice for Irish American advocacy in relation to the North of Ireland, and is pledged to fully support and work to implement all provisions of the historic Good Friday Agreement.

The Pat Finucane Centre - A FFAI Christmas Appeal Benfeficary

While the Good Friday agreement has brought a welcome peace to a generation of children in the North, there is still much work that needs to be done. Recent and past events in the six northern counties of Ireland exemplify why the support and attention of FFAI is still needed in the North. Flag protests in Belfast, violent loyalist marches through Catholic areas, reneging by the DUP on the Long Kesh peace memorial project, and the continued obstruction of truth and justice by the British government and Unionist politicians exemplifies the challenges and injustices still faced by the Nationalist communities within the Six Counties.

Omagh Thunder Basketball Program - FFAI Christmas Appeal Beneficiary

The FFAI Christmas Appeal was created in order to assist those organizations whose work and advocacy help realize the dream of a United 32 County Ireland.  Groups requesting financial support from the FFAI Christmas Appeal must promote those programs that encourage cross community cooperation, economic development, social change, cross border collaboration, Irish history and language education, nationalist infrastructure maintenance and construction efforts, and Irish unification initiatives based on peace and justice for all throughout all of Ireland.

Division #1 Yonkers is a proud supporter of The FFAI Appeal

The Myles Scully Division #1 of Yonkers is a proud supporter of The FFAI Christmas Appeal, and was presented an award along with a certificate of appreciation at The AOH National President’s Testimonial Dinner which was held in Suffern, New York on October 3rd.
